***We regret that due to storm Eunice and the current Amber warning for Lancashire, we are postponing Astley Illuminated and will look to rearrange the event as soon as possible. This year’s event is more community driven than previous years and many of our partners are unable to set up or rehearse in preparation for the event and we also have concerns regarding the event’s proximity to trees and woodland. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but due to the weather, we are unable to bring the level of quality that this event deserves. All ticket holders have been contacted ***
Astley Illuminated will return on 19 February in collaboration with artist Rebecca Chesney and About Time Dance Company.
The popular annual event will see Astley Hall’s exterior and grounds come alive with light, music and mystery as this historic building is beautifully lit with magnificent light displays.
Inspired by the hidden stories of Astley Hall they will be brought into the light by professional and community dancers and singers.
The evening is accompanied by an exhibition in the Coach House Gallery which will share the experience of creating the event and there will also be some well loved faces providing refreshments throughout the evening.
