Calling all Opera lovers! Tales of Love at Hoghton Tower for the 2017 summer season of music and theatre.
Outreach Opera are returning to Hoghton Tower following the success of their outdoor performance of Hansel and Gretel last summer. Join them as they journey through life, love, marriage and death with Tales of Love.
A great introduction to opera, Tales of Love presents bite sized opera as you’ve never seen it before, using the beautiful music of Verdi, Puccini, Mozart, Donizetti and Bizet. The performance will be in both English and original language.
Bring your best picnics and deckchairs, relax and enjoy Opera on the lawn in the beautiful surroundings of Hoghton Tower’s Wilderness Garden.
Tickets available to buy at http://www.hoghtontower.co.uk/ and are £15 Adults, £10 concessions (students, OAPs); £5 under 16’s.
Practical information:
This is an event for all the family so little ones are very welcome.
Refreshments will be available.
No high backed chairs out of respect for those behind you.
Please respect your surroundings: please use the litter bins provided.
No dogs with the exception of guide dogs.
Doors open at 2pm for a prompt 2.30 pm start.
The performance will last approx two hours with an interval.
