Winter Wonderland Ice rink
We've compiled some answers to Frequently Asked Questions about the Winter Wonderland to help you plan your visit:

 

How long is a session on the ice rink?

The skating session is 45 minutes plus 15 minutes to put on and take off skates.
 

Is skate hire included?

Skate hire is included in the price of entry to the ice rink.

 

What skate sizes are available at the ice rink?

Skate sizes start at a child's size 8 to adults size 13 (please note the number of skates available for size 11,12 & 13 are limited)
 

From what age can children use the ice rink?

Children who skate on the ice must be able to stand independently without support.
Penguin skating aids cannot therefore be used to support babies or children who are not able to walk. 1 on 1 supervision for children under 5 is advised.

Children aged under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
 

What should I wear to my visit to the ice rink?

Please wrap up warm i.e. trousers, long sleeved tops, coats or jackets and socks. We strongly advise you to wear gloves.
 

Can I pre-book my ice skating session?

With the exception of community and school group bookings, the Quiet Hour session, and those wishing to use Tempo Time Credits, we do not take advanced bookings for ice skating sessions - just turn up and enjoy!
