Come along to Astley Park for an afternoon of free family fun, activities and entertainment at our annual Picnic in the Park event!
Picnic in the Park returns to Astley Park on Sunday 7 June 2026!
Come along between 12pm and 4pm for a great day of family fun. Bring a blanket, pick a spot and enjoy a picnic on the lawns in front of Astley Hall. This year we're getting in the world cup mood with lots of football and international themed entertainment and food to enjoy including:

- Walkabout acts
- Football skills with Chorley Schools Sports Partnership
- Football darts from Football Fun Factory
- Face Painting*
- Children's rides from Bewleys Fairground Rides*
- Chorley FC mascot walkabout and time to talk bench

Travel Information
- Please make use of plentiful town centre parking to attend this event, more information HERE
- A one way system will be in place on Chancery Road between the hours of 11am and 5pm
- Please do not park on residential streets in Astley Village
- Hallgate and Ackhurst car parks will be open first come first serve parking (parking charges apply)
