Fun Thursdays in Market Walk

Free fun Thursdays are back in Market Walk with plenty to enjoy. From Encanto themed fun to face painting to dinosaurs and clowns, there’s something with different to enjoy every Thursday from 25 July - 29 August, 10am-4pm.

Children’s activities at Chorley Flower Show

At this year’s Chorley Flower Show, 26 - 28 July 2024, there’ll be lots to enjoy for children, including entertainment, craft activity sessions, theatre performances and more. Outdoor Theatre at Astley Hall

Quantum Theatre return to the Astley Hall Walled Garden on Friday 2 August with their new charming adaptation of the Beatrix Potter classic story, The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck! Free summer holiday crafts at Astley Hall

This summer outdoors on the Astley Hall walled garden lawn (weather permitting) we will be running kids crafting sessions on Thursday afternoons 1pm - 3pm, starting on the 25 July and running each week until 29 August!

Come along and take part in a variety of crafts including caricature drawing, making union jacks for the Olympics, pebble mosaics and more!

Activities are open to all ages, younger children may need assistance from a parent or guardian.

 

Woodland Wander Exhibition - Astley Coach House Gallery

Opening on Wednesday 24 July, come along to the Coach House Gallery 10am - 3pm every day until 4 August to experience the enchanting 'Woodland Wander' exhibition!

This free exhibition showcases the magic of green woodworking, making fallen trees and branches come to life!

A perfect addition to a day out to Astley in the Summer holidays, which will also be open for the duration of the Chorley Flower Show for wristband holders!

Summer Playday

Wednesday 7 August, 11:00 am-3:00 pm

Coronation Recreation Ground, Off Devonshire Road in Chorley, PR7 2SR

There will be a range of activities to get involved with including; a bouncy castle, inflatable slide, multi sports, crafts and play activities.

Community Groups and partner organisations will also be on hand to tell you all about the wonderful things happening in the borough.


Summer Fun at Chorley Leisure Centres
