Remembrance Sunday parade
Join us on Remembrance Sunday (10 November) for the annual parade which will begin at St Thomas' Road at 10.30am.
Everyone is welcome to line the route and attend the service.
Schedule
The parade departs from St Thomas’ Road at 10:30am and make its way to Astley Park by turning left into via Market Street and then straight onto Park Road, then left into the park gates for a service at the Cenotaph from approx.10.45am.
Following the service, the parade will return to the Chorley Town Hall by turning right out of the park gates into Park Road, left into Union Street, right into Cleveland Street, right into High Street and right into Market Street where the parade will halt outside the Town Hall.
Parking
Town centre car parking is available.
Road closures
St Thomas’ Road at the junction from Devonshire Road, Market Street in front of the Town Hall, Park Road (entrance to Astley Park), Union St from Cleveland St junction up to the roundabout at Park Road, Cleveland Street and High Street will be closed from 9.30am until 12noon. Diversions will be in place.
