For fresh, locally made meals with a great range of gluten free and vegan options why not give The Bees Country Kitchen a go? If you're feeling like an Italian feast, Luciano's  and Italian Cottage have got you covered. Calico Lounge on Market Walk is a dog friendly spot open all day offering a tasty breakfast right through to an evening cocktail. For a great selection of working lunch options or weekend treats, 1498 at the Markets has a great selection of food and drink traders from tasty Caribbean cuisine to pizza and Greek gyros to cakes and treats.

Fancy a coffee and cake date, sweet treat or a delicious ice cream on a summer's day? Then look no further than Chorley. We're home to the famous Frederick's Ice Cream Parlour, which regularly sees queue's out the door! In the Town Centre you'll find Bubble and Shake for a delicious milkshake or bubble tea, or head to The Old Stables Vintage Tea Shop for a delightful afternoon tea. If you're off for a visit to Astley Hall, Café Ambio offers a great selection and fresh daily specials for a lunch in the park, plus nip across to Barrica in the Park for a selection of delicious deli and bakery favourites.

Craft Ales and Pub Fare

Chorley is definitely the place to be if you're a fan of real ales and friendly pub atmosphere. Across the borough you'll find a first-class selection of microbreweries, bars and pubs offering a great variety of draft beers and delicious hearty food. In the town centre you'll find many micro bars and tap rooms to suit the discerning ale enthusiast, from the Shepherds Hall Ale House to Ben's Tap and Bottle Shop and popular local pubs including the Rose and Crown and the Flat Iron. Head to Chorley Markets to find The Bob Inn, a small and friendly spot to try a selection of on tap beers. If you've a hunger for good wholesome pub food at affordable prices, you can check out the Dressers Arms in Wheelton, the Spinners Arms at Cowling, or perhaps the Sea View in Whittle-le-Woods, plus many many more in the area!

For a night on the town or celebrating an occasion with perhaps a few cocktails, come to Chorley and visit some of our great bars and cocktail lounges with just the vibe you need. With plenty of live music nights and offers you're sure to have a great night. The Shed and Garden on Fazackerly street bring the outdoors in with its pretty aesthetic of greenery and fairy lights, or why not indulge a little with a great variety of expertly made cocktails, be it a smooth espresso martini or cheeky strawberry mojito, at Baaa 38, The Cosmopolitan or Nelipots bar.
