There are lots of family friendly events to enjoy in Chorley this summer, From the fabulous Chorley Flower Show to fantastic free Fun Thursdays in Market Walk, or the community Summer Play Day, gather round for delightful interactive Teddy Bear Tales and Trail at Astley Hall, enjoy great live music at Chorfest, or two brilliant nights of outdoor theatre and music at the Astley Walled Garden with Alice Through the Looking Glass and Last Night of the Proms and so much more!

Amazing Attractions…

Across the borough there are so many ways to spend a great day in Chorley.

If you’re looking for an activity the whole family can enjoy,find a wide range of fun-filled activities at Euxton Park Golf Centre, such as Foot Golf, Kick Pool and Kick Darts, and the outdoor adventure golf course at Duxbury Park Golf Club is packed with twists, turns and plenty of laughs to keep the family entertained. And if you’ve worked up an appetite at Duxbury's adventure golf, don’t forget Fredericks Ice Cream Parlour is just down the road for a fantastic range of ice cream flavours to choose from.

While you’re out and about across Chorley, you’ll find some fantastic places to eat and drink such as Woodchats Coffee Shop and Lockdown Kitchen and Bar, or Café Ambio and Barrica in the Park at Astley, and a host of great food options to choose from at the Chorley Markets. There are so many amazing places for food and drink across the borough, we simply couldn’t mention them all.

If you fancy some thrill seeking outdoor entertainment, why not check out attractions in Rivington such as Go Ape, for a tree top challenge (minimum age 10 years), or how about the Anderton Centre with pay and play sessions available to purchase in advance.

For more active fun check out Chorley’s leisure centres with a host of sporting activities to enjoy like fun swims, table tennis, pickleball and more!

Chorley Theatre’s varied schedule of live theatre and film screenings means there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

At Hoghton Tower, you can explore the house and gardens and on select days in August book to discover their fascinating doll’s house collection.
