Heading into Chorley town centre? Be sure to visit Market Walk for Fun Thursdays  on Thursday 10 (with Louby Lou the clown) and Thursday 17 April (for a Wickedly good time with Elphaba and Glinda), 10am to 4pm. When it comes to live shows and film screenings of some family classics, head for chorleytheatre.com to find out what’s on and when at Chorley Theatre and Empire Cinema.

Just a stone's throw from the town centre, you'll find lots to do at Astley Hall, Coach House and Park. The historic Astley Hall is open for general admission on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays: 11am to 3pm, On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 April, history will come to life with 'Astley Alive - The Tudors' where you can learn about the lives of Tudors from costumed characters around the hall!. Admission fees apply.

If you’re feeling adventurous, feel the thrill of outdoor karting at Euxton Karting, fun for all the family (from 3 years and up), or how about a tree top challenge at Go Ape Rivington - a high ropes course for adventurers over 10 years old. Just down the road, you’ll find the Anderton Centre - a transformative Outdoor Learning Centre empowering individuals to discover their full potential through experiential learning and adventure-based activities.

While you’re out and about, you’ll find some fantastic places to eat and drink such as Woodchats Coffee Shop and Lockdown Kitchen and Bar, and of course the famous Fredericks Ice Cream - what's your favourite flavour? There are so many amazing places for food and drink across the borough, we couldn’t possibly mention them all.
