Is skate hire included?
Skate hire is included in the price of entry to the ice rink.
What skate sizes are available at the ice rink?
Skate sizes start at a child’s size 8 to adults size 13
From what age can children use the ice rink?
Children who skate on the ice must be able to stand independently without support.
Penguin skating aids cannot therefore be used to support babies or children who are not able to walk. 1 on 1 supervision for children under 5 is advised.
Children aged under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
What should I wear to my visit to the ice rink?
Please wrap up warm i.e. trousers, long sleeved tops, coats or jackets and socks. We strongly advise you to wear gloves.
Can I pre-book my ice skating session?
With the exception of community and school group bookings, we do not take advanced bookings for ice skating sessions – just turn up and enjoy!

How can I pay?
The ice rink, children’s rides and festive tipis will accept both cash or card payments.
Is the Winter Wonderland and ice rink accessible?
The ice rink is accessible by wheelchair and there is a portable disabled toilet onsite. If you have any questions regarding accessibility please get in touch by emailing events@chorley.gov.uk
What food and drinks are available in the tipis?
A range of drinks will be available in the tipis, plus at weekends pizzas, made in the onsite pizza oven, will be available to order.
Where can I park to visit Winter Wonderland?
Chorley town centre has plentiful car parks, offering free or low cost parking. Information about car parks, parking tarrifs and a handy car park map can be found on the Chorley Council website.
Winter Wonderland is located on a section of Cleveland Street car park, so the rest of Cleveland Street car park is the nearest car park to the attraction.
Is Winter Wonderland close to public transport?
Being located in the town centre, Winter Wonderland is a short walk to the town's bus and train station.
