Christmas Lights Switch On
and Totally Locally Christmas Market
Sunday 16 November - Chorley town centre
Christmas in Chorley will get underway in style with the Christmas Lights Switch On, sponsored by Chorley Eats and Lockdown Kitchen & Bar, with special guests and a fantastic line up of stage entertainment starting at 1pm on the Market Street stage, building up to the big switch on taking place at 5pm.
The fabulous Totally Locally Chorley Christmas Market will take place in the town centre from 10am on the same day.
Special guest, the Reverend Richard Coles will be doing the honours of turning Chorley's Christmas Lights On for 2025, joined on stage by representatives from Chorley FC. The stage will be hosted by Graham Liver from BBC Radio Lancashire.

Santa's Grotto
Santa can't wait to meet you in his grotto at Astley Hall, every Saturday and Sunday from Saturday 29 November to Sunday 21 December.
Access will be by pre-booked ticket only.
Pantomime - Sleeping Beauty
Sunday 14 December - Chorley Town Hall
The annual pantomime will return to Chorley Town Hall (the Lancastrian) this Christmas, with three performances of Sleeping Beauty.
Perfomances will take place at 10.30am 12pm and 2pm.
Winter Wonderland
13 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 (except Christmas Day) - Chorley town centre
This fabulous festive attraction will be back in the town centre this Christmas with real ice rink, festive tipis and children's rides, sponsored by Park Hall Hotel and Spa and Market Walk, Chorley.
